SHRI RAJAT AGARWAL, IAS, EXCUTIVE DIRECTOR, ITPO PRESENTS AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN DISPLAY


After attracting a large crowds doyens of publishing industry, teachers, academicians, scholars, librarians, students, a five-day book bonanza, Delhi Book Fair 2023 concluded with a successful note. The event was organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) in  association  with  the  Federation  of Indian Publishers (FIP)  along with  its  allied  events, Stationery Fair and  office  automation  fair from July 29 to August 02, 2023  at  Hall No. 11, Pragati  Maidan, New Delhi.

Awards  for  excellence in display  were  given away  by  Shri  Rajat  Agarwal, IAS, Executive Director, ITPO to  the  winner participants of  the  event  in  two  categories.  In the Delhi Book  Fair  category, APC Books  bagged the  Gold Medal, Publication Division, the  Ministry Information  and Broadcasting Government  of India  won  the Silver  Medal and Gita  Press  was  conferred   with  the  Bronze.  While  in  the  category  of Stationery  and Office Automation  Hobby Craft, Doms  Industries and Pennrite Pvt. Ltd. were  honoured  with  the Gold, Silver  and Bronze medals, respectively.

Complimenting  the  award  winners, Shri Rajat  Agarwal, ED, ITPO assured that the  next  edition  of  the  fair  would  be organised  with  enhanced  size  and  stature. He   emphasised  to  mobilise  the  participation  much in advance   to   maximise  the  response from the publishing  industry.

Earlier Ms. Hema Maity, GM, ITPO delivered  the  welcome  address.  In his address, DR. Ashok Gupta, Secretary General, FIP appreciated team ITPO and FIP especially when the Federation is  celebrating  its  Golden Jubilee.    Vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Krishan Kumar, DGM, ITPO.
