Indian Designers and Jewellery Labels Showcased at the 79th Festival de Cannes 2026
Continuing India’s strong presence at the 79th edition of the Cannes Film Festival 2026, internationally renowned Show Director Liza Varma from India led a delegation of Indian designers and jewellery labels across multiple fashion showcases. Under the AEFW Paris (Asian European Fashion Show) held at the Majestic Hotel, Cannes from 7 PM to 8 PM (CEST), Indian designers Ambar Paridhi Sahay Mine of Designs, Sona Mandhiratta, Ashna Vaswani, and Veneraa Jewels by Eshita Kaur presented their collections before an international audience. The showcase highlighted a blend of contemporary silhouettes, Indian craftsmanship, and modern fashion aesthetics. Speaking about the initiative, Liza Varma said , “Cannes continues to serve as an important international platform to showcase the diversity and strength of Indian fashion and design talent. Through these showcases, our aim is to create meaningful global visibility and opportunities for both emerging and established Indian designers and jewellery labels.” The showcases formed part of a broader initiative led by Liza Varma to create sustained international exposure for Indian fashion talent during the Cannes period through curated runway presentations, fashion collaborations, and global industry participation.
