Delhi : Indian Society for Training and Development has organised a Two Days Youth Fest with the theme of  “Y20: EMPOWERING YOUTH – EMPOWERING NATION, ViksitYuva-Viksit Bharat”.

On the first day, event was started with the auspicious lamp lighting by Ms Anita Chauhan, National President, ISTD, Regional Vice Presidents Ms Usha Jain & Ms RajlakshmiSubramaniam& the chief guest Ms SunitaGodhara, Asian Champion International Marathon Runner.

ISTD correspondent Hemlata said The grand opening of ISTD youth Fest was held at the ISTD NHQ premises. Poster Making Competitions, Graffiti Wall painting and Live Band performance witness the huge gathering in the first day of the fest.   Youths from different colleges, ISTD members & organizations attended the event today.

Ms SunitaGodhara the only Indian women   Asian Marathon Champion Gold Medallist delivered a power pack speech to motivate the youth & followed by an amazing performance by Young & talented band.

Mr Manwar Singh the officiating director said that The brand ambassador of ISTD youth fest Miss Nandini Gupta (Femina Miss India World 2023) graced the event by her presence on the second day. The Event was started with the auspicious lamp lighting by Ms. Nandini Gupta – Femina Miss India World 2023 and Ms. Anita Chauhan, National President, ISTD.  While addressing the audience, Ms. Nandini Gupta highlighted the importance of failures in achieving success in life. She inspired and motivated the youth to their passion and dream big in life. Ms. Nandini Gupta interacted with the youth with great enthusiasm. She also emphasized on Art of Giving back to the society.  “every single act of love, kindness and generosity will multiply and return to you many times over”. When you give without any desire of getting something back, your returns will be limitless. To give something from the heart is an action which will fill your life with joy.

Thankfully, generosity and kindness are not associated with these same material limitations and this makes the art of giving something wonderful. Femina Miss India appreciated the efforts of ISTD for dwelling upon the practicing Art of Giving and Return on Association. She appreciated the efforts of ISTD to carry out path breaking events for various sections of Society with the core theme of L& D and skill building. Providing employment opportunities to the youth is an appreciable step.

The National President Miss Anita Chauhan during her opening remarks welcomed all the dignitaries and said ISTD is spreading its wings and now we are moving one step ahead in L&D and Skill Development, whereby we are connecting youth to ISTD and we are becoming a partner in transforming their careers and rejuvenating them through cultural connect and other competitions. This is just a beginning and ISTD is She invited all to join the largest fraternity of Trainers and become a member of ISTD.  ISTD have been working for Training & Development (ISTD) has been doing lot of Skilling oriented programs, now by organizing Youth Fest (Jobs, Contests & Cultural Connect) we would be able to complete our Skill-Journey. The ultimate aim of providing employment to the youth is going to be achieved with this first ever Youth festival. She added we have invited companies for hiring on the spot. Yokohama, Ashiana group, Shadowfax, Powergilt, Western human resource pvt Ltd. etc. were there with their HR teams to execute the long awaited exercise of providing employment to the skilled and employable youth. President Anita thankd Miss Nandini Gupta, the latest Youth Icon of India – a small town girl making it big. She is a source of inspiration for all the youth out here and in the country. She thanked all the recruiters for coming in big numbers.

The event was aimed at providing a platform for the young people to showcase their talent and skills and to encourage them to engage in the activities. A number of activities were conducted including Poster Making Competitions, Graffiti Wall painting, dancing competition and cultural connect.  A Live Band named Rooh  from Jaipur led by 4 young boys  performance was great attraction for the audience.

In the Poster making competition Miss Harshita Singh was the first winner, Mr. Garvit Singh stood second and Mr. विजयराज Gurjar was third winner. One special Prize was given Ms. Ridhi Garg for her participation.

In the Dancing competition Mr. Vishvendra Singh Solanki won first price, Ms. Geetakshi Singh received the second position.

All the winners were awarded by Miss Nandini Gupta.

The Youth & Employability Committee Co-Chair Mr Hiren Panchal from talked about the journey of First Youth Fest of ISTD and stated that the same will be continued every year.

The ISTD Fest also witnessed various recruiters and many job seekers participating in the ISTD placement drive. The first ever organised Youth Fest 2023 by ISTD was widely accepted and appreciated by the participants and its stakeholders.
