A day should come when there is an Indian item on every dining table across the World”, Said Shri Chirag Paswan, the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries while inaugurating the 39th edition of AAHAR 2025 at Bharat Mandapam today i.e. on 4th March, 2025.
Present on the occasion were Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman and Managing Director, ITPO and Shri Premjit Lal, Executive Director, ITPO, foreign delegates, participants and media persons.
In his welcome address, Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman & Managing Director, ITPO stated that this edition of AAHAR have many unique features. The 39th edition of AAHAR is organized jointly by Ministry of Food Processing Industries and ITPO with the support of a number of vibrant and active associations.
First time we are holding this in an area of 1,12,000 sq.mrs. with display of entire spectrum of food industry. This time 80 participants from 22 countries are participating. Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, CMD ended his welcome speech with an assurance that ITPO with the help of all the associations will leave no stone unturned to make the AAHAR number one Food Exhibition in the world under the able guidance of hon’ble Minister Shri Chirag Paswan. With so many unique features, on this occasion CMD, ITPO on behalf of ITPO extended his warm welcome to the Chief Guests.
Shri Chirag Paswan commended ITPO for organizing AAHAR – the International Food and Hospitality Fair, flagship event in association with Ministry of Food Processing Industries. He also emphasized the vast potential of India’s food processing sector and its role in economic development of the country to achieve the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi ji of Viksit Bharat @ 2047. He further stated that reduction of agricultural wastage, strengthening the supply chain from farm to fork and increasing the value addition may ensure the food security. Outlining his vision, he stated that India is working to be “Food Basket of the World” and putting “one Indian food product at every dining table”.

The fair is open for Business Visitors from March 4-8, 2025. The timing of the fair is 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. The Rate of one day (Single Entry) is Rs.300 and Season Ticket valid for all 5 exhibition days is Rs.1000/-.
