New Delhi : India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) commemorated the 76th Republic Day with great pride and patriotic spirit. The celebration, held at Bharat Mandapam, included the ceremonial flag hoisting and an inspiring speech by Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, who highlighted India’s rich heritage and its strides toward progress and development.
The event began with the unfurling of the Tricolour, accompanied by the National Anthem, resonating with the values of unity and pride. Employees, dignitaries, and stakeholders joined to pay homage to the principles of the Constitution and reflect on this year’s national theme, ‘Swarnim Bharat – Virasat aur Vikas’ (Golden India – Heritage and Development), which celebrates the harmonious blend of India’s glorious past and visionary future.
In his address, Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola eloquently connected the core values of the Constitution with the essence of ‘Swarnim Bharat – Virasat aur Vikas’, stating : “Our Constitution is the foundation of the nation’s journey toward greatness. It instills values of unity, equality, liberty, and justice. ‘We the people of India’—our first guiding value—reminds us of the collective strength and responsibility we share as citizens. The principle of equality ensures that every individual enjoys the same rights and opportunities. The rule of law binds us together as a fair and just society, ensuring that independence is exercised prudently and responsibly.”
Shri Kharola highlighted how these values empower Indians to excel in diverse fields, from education and technology to space exploration and quantum energy, making the country a global leader. He also emphasized the significance of preserving India’s cultural heritage while embracing innovation and progress, perfectly aligning with the Republic Day theme.
“‘Swarnim Bharat – Virasat aur Vikas’ reflects our journey of balancing heritage and progress. ITPO embodies this vision by preserving the values that define us while driving innovation and fostering global partnerships. Our commitment is to ensure India’s voice is heard and its presence is felt on the international stage,” Shri Kharola stated.
The celebration culminated in cultural performances by ITPO employees, highlighting India’s diversity and unity. The event not only honored the values of the Constitution but also reinforced ITPO’s commitment to contributing to India’s development in line with the Republic Day theme.
