Bronze Win by Delhi Team Duo Pushpa & Abhishek in Water Sports

About 750 players from 28 states across India have participated in the 32nd National Canoe Sprint Competition

By participating in the national competition of water sports, various states have shown sportsman stamina by winning many medals and have raised the heads of their respective states above the class.

Delhi : In the 32nd National Canoe Sprint Championship held for four consecutive days, Abhishek Kumar and Pushpa Yadav of Delhi brought laurels to themselves and Delhi by winning the Bronze medal in the K-2 Mix in Senior Men’s and Women’s 200 meters with their passion and hard work.

31 players and two officials participated in this competition from Delhi side. At the same time, about 750 players from 28 states across India have participated in the 32nd National Canoe Sprint Competition, including players from SSB, India Police, Sports Authority of India, Sports Academy, Army.

The championship, starting from March 10, was inaugurated by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Sports Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia at the Lower Lake of Bhopal. By participating in the national competition of water sports, various states have shown sportsman stamina by winning many medals and have raised the heads of their respective states above the class.

The concluding ceremony was done by Bhopal Governor Mangubhai Chhaganbhai Patel. The 32nd National Canoe Sprint Competition was organized in the memory of late IPS officer Sanjeev Kumar Singh.
